shinning the light of Christ for all to see
The Light-House Inc.
The Light-House Inc. is a home church that meets on Sunday mornings to hear the word of God, to worship, and to fellowship together.
Statement of Faith
The Holy Scriptures
We believe that the Bible is inspired by God in its entirety, and is without error in the original autographs, a complete and final written revelation from God. (2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:21)
The Godhead
We believe that there is only one God, who is eternal and exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, John 10:30, John 14:16-17)
Salvation
We believe that all humanity is lost and born with a sinful nature, and can only be saved by a personal faith in the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and not by any human merit or performance. (John 3:16-19, John 5:24, Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:8-9, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5)
Repentance
We believe repentance is necessary for a Christian's life. It's a turning away from a life of sin, and to a life lived for Jesus. (Romans 2:14, 2Â Corinthians 7:10, 2Â Peter 3:9, Matthew 9:13, 1Â John 1:9)
Christ's Return
We believe that Jesus Christ is going to return in the clouds for His church (1 Thessalonians 4:16, John 14:3, Titus 2:3, 1 Thessalonians 1:10), before the 7-year tribulation that is coming upon the whole earth (Daniel 9:27), and that He will return with His saints and all His holy angels to the earth at the end of the tribulation, and set up His kingdom on earth, ruling and reigning forever and ever. (Matthew 24:29-30, Revelation 19:11-16)
